Credit Funds Tracker: 6 November 2020

Institutional investors have allocated just over $2.8 billion to credit funds in recent weeks.

CLO funds are among those to benefit with Creditflux reporting that New York State Common Retirement Fund had allocated $250 million to a CLO fund managed by Pearl Diver Capital. Investment consultant Callan also issued a request for proposal on behalf of an undisclosed insurance firm for managers to invest in CLO debt and/or ABS. Managers have until 3pm Pacific Time today to submit.

Highbridge wins in battleground state

Florida Retirement System Trust Fund made the largest commitments in this week's LP round-up, with the $207.8 billion institution disclosing $1.6 billion in credit mandates it assigned last quarter during a board meeting.
