Daisy Cai General Partner and Head of China B CAPITAL GROUP

Daisy CAI has started B Capital Group’s China team in Jan, 2021. Before building out B Capital China team, she served as a partner at Softbank Vision Fund. Prior to Softbank, Daisy served as partner and investment committee member of Gaocheng Capital, a growth equity firm in China focused on investing in enterprise technologies. Daisy was also managing partner of Baidu Ventures and Baidu Capital. She began her investment career as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs. Daisy has a Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University, a Master of Engineering from The University of Southern California and an MBA from Columbia University.

Linda Cai Partner LOYAL VALLEY CAPITAL

Linda Cai joined Loyal Valley Capital in 2017 as Partner and COO, in charge of institutional fundraising at the firm. She has 16 years of experience in the private equity sector. Prior to joining Loyal Valley, Ms. Cai was the Head of Cross border investments at Hony Capital for five years, and Head of China for Partners Group prior to that. She graduated from Harvard Business School with a MBA and also holds a MS in Computer Science from California State University Northridge.

Mr. Max Chen is a Partner and a founding member of Primavera Capital.

At Primavera, Mr. Chen led the firm’s investments in a variety of opportunities in the consumer and technology sectors, including investments in Alibaba Group, Cainiao Smart Logistics, Alibaba Local Services Group, Palantir, Lufax, iResearch, Vitaco Health and Linksure Global.

Mr. Fang is the founding managing partner of Starquest Capital, a China based private equity and fund of funds firm with investment strategy focused on consumer, healthcare and technology sector. Mr. Fang oversees the FoF investment, ESG integration, business development and various activities. Starquest Capital is the first Asian recipient of the UNPRI Awards 2019 Emerging Markets Initiative of the Year.

Prior to founding Starquest Capital in 2018, Mr. Fang served as the Head of LGT Capital Partners in China for 12 years. Before joining LGT Capital Partners in early 2007, Mr. Fang worked for AXA Private Equity Group in Singapore focusing on fund of funds and direct investment in Pan-Asia region. Mr. Fang has a total of 20 years' experience in the finance industry.

Mr. Fang has invested over USD 1.5 billion in Chinese private equity market, including long-established GPs such as CDH Investments, CITIC Capital, Sequoia Capital and Legend Capital, as well as VC 2.0 GPs such as Primavera Capital, Source Code Capital and Gaorong Capital. Mr. Fang is the member of Advisory Committees for over 20 funds in China and a member of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission Expert Committee. He is also invited to be expert judge of Forbes China 2020 "30 Under 30" List.

Pang Lee is a partner in the Shanghai office of Cooley LLP and the founding partner of CYL & Partners, a firm of Hong Kong solicitors which practices in association with Cooley HK, a HK registered law firm. His practice is focused on the formation and operation of various private investment funds, with a focus on venture capital funds, buyout funds and investment advisory businesses. He has been involved on behalf of sponsors and investors in the formation of some of the largest and most active funds and managers in the region. Yipin Ng is a Managing Partner of enterprise and productivity focused Shanghai-based Yunqi Partners.
